Fall Diy Crafts

Cheap DIY Fall Crafts and Goodies

It may still be 90 degrees in South Carolina but we have made it to the ‘ber months as people may say…which means we needed to get ahead on our fall crafts/baking/essentials. There are so many fall crafts and goodies to make on Instagram and TikTok and if we could try every one we would. Here are just a few of some of the ones we have tried, they are also super easy and don’t break the bank!

Fall Diy

1. Pumpkin Mimosas with Pumpkin Ice Molds

Start your fall festivities with one of the cutest mimosas I’ve ever made! Make Pumpkin Mimosas using pumpkin-shaped ice molds for the best touch of fall. Fill the molds with apple cider and even edible glitter.

What you’ll need:

  • Pumpkin-shaped silicone ice molds
  • Apple cider
  • Champagne or Prosecco
  • Cinnamon sticks (optional garnish)
  • Caramel & Cinnamon Sugar for the rim (optional)

Instructions: Fill your pumpkin molds with apple cider and freeze until solid. Once frozen, drop the pumpkin ice cubes into champagne glasses. Pour champagne or Prosecco over the ice molds. Add a cinnamon stick for a festive garnish. You can also add caramel and cinnamon sugar to the rim!

These mimosas are perfect for a fall brunch or cocktail hour, and the pumpkin-shaped ice cubes are sure super cute and so cheap!

2. Ghost Lollipops

A simple DIY fall crafts project, Ghost Lollipops are a perfect way to add a touch of Halloween spirit to something so simple. These are a hit on Halloween or even in kid’s goodie bags for school!

What you’ll need:

  • Round lollipops (Tootsie or Blow Pops)
  • White coffee filters
  • Black marker
  • Small rubber bands or string

Instructions: Place a coffee filter over each lollipop, covering it completely. Tie the filter on the lollipop with a rubberband (I use clear hair elastics. Draw two black eyes on the coffee filter to create the face.

These little ghosts make great party decorations, favors, or even Halloween treats!

3. Ghost Brownies

Turn regular brownies into spooky treats by decorating them as ghosts! These Ghost Brownies are one of our favorites and super easy to make.

What you’ll need:

  • Brownies (cut into squares or rounds)
  • White melting chocolate or candy melts
  • Black icing or edible gel pen

Instructions: Bake your favorite brownie recipe and let them cool completely. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts, spread onto parchment paper into a ghost shape, and place on brownies. Use black icing to create eyes and a spooky mouth for each ghost.

These ghost brownies are perfect for a Halloween party or a cozy night in with spooky movie!

4. Cheesecloth Ghosts

If you’re looking for a fun and spooky decoration for your home, Cheesecloth Ghosts is an easy DIY craft that gives off major haunted house vibes! I saw these in store for over $25 EACH, when you can make so many yourself (and they honestly look better too)

What you’ll need:

  • Cheesecloth
  • Modge Podge or fabric stiffener
  • Small balloons and Vase
  • Black felt (for eyes)

Instructions: Blow up small balloons to your desired ghost size, and place the balloon at the top of the vase. Apply Modge Podge or fabric stiffener to the cheesecloth, ensuring it’s fully coated. Drape a piece of cheesecloth over each balloon. Let the cheesecloth dry and harden overnight. Pop the balloon and carefully remove it, leaving the cheesecloth ghost in shape.

These floating ghosts are great for indoor or outdoor decorations!

Perfect Fall Necessities
