Don’t forget to try one of their apple wines while you’re there, or opt for one of their other refreshments to suit your taste.
Exploring Brasstown Falls: A Perfect Family Hike Not to Far from Lake Keowee
Before immersing yourself in the unbelievable views that the Chattooga Belle Farm has to offer, take the time to explore an easy family hike where you are rewarded with not one, but three waterfalls at Brasstown Falls. Do not forget your water shoes and bathing suits, these waterfalls are perfect to splash around in.
This hike is the perfect family hike as it is more of a leisurely stroll to see all three of the waterfalls. Approximately 1.5 total miles is all it takes to see the three waterfalls at Brasstown Falls. While I won’t say the waterfalls are full of warm water, they are a perfect way to cool down on a hot South Carolina day.
Getting to Brasstown Falls Trail Head
Brasstown Falls is located in Long Creek, South Carolina just 26 miles outside of Seneca. The trailhead is on on Brasstown road. Once you arrive at Brasstown road travel for 2.6 miles. This paved road will end and you will then continue another 1.3 miles down a dirt road. When there is a fork in the road, head right, and travel for another .4 miles. This will take you to the trailhead or Brasstown Falls.
Chattooga Belle Farm is a Must See
Chattooga Belle Farm is just down the road from Brasstown Falls, in Long Creek South Carolina. This 190+ acre farm has some of the most beautiful views you will ever see. In addition to just being a gorgeous place to visit, it has a quaint little country store as well as a cafe. There is also a distillery. While I can’t comment on the distillery, I can share Chattooga Belle Farm is a must-visit destination.
